You should also discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the theories to evaluate them. You should consider how the field of sports psychology may evolve over time.

Examine, in depth, involves providing a detailed explanation of how theory is used in fields of psychological practice. The explanation includes identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the theories and provides justification for why the theories are used. The explanation may include descriptions of, or references to, psychological theories or studies from published works.
Comprehensively examine involves evaluating the theories used in the chosen fields. The evaluation considers implications of the theory on the fields and predicts how the fields may evolve over time
